Description
Erect, branching herbs with opposite, stalkless leaves, usually ovate but linear in some species. Flowers in clusters at ends of branches.
How to Grow
These plants like damp soil and partial shade. Sow seeds in early spring. They prefer cool weather.

Rose Pink . To 3 ft. (90 cm) high. Flowers 1 in. (4 cm) across, pink, sometimes so pale as to appear whitish, with 5 petals and yellow center. E. North America. Hardy annual.
